The new avant-garde additions to the Metropolitan collection offer a beautiful and dynamic range in style. The neutral coloured engineered white oak floors are all 7-1/2″ wide, with the vast majority of the planks being 6 feet long.
A subtle way to distress a floor is through wire-brushing. The widely popular finish involves brushing the planks with a wire brush to add texture and bring out the grain. Wire-brushed floors tend to wear much better than smoother finishes as the added texture helps to conceal scratches that may arise over time.
