Superior’s Hand Scraped finish pays homage to the handcrafted quality of authentic wood surfaces. Our technicians craft each plank by hand with specialty blades and gauges. Working in small sections to ensure consistency, downward pressure is applied and the tool is pulled and scraped along the surface to create the desired effect. The result is a completely unique, original and handcrafted surface. The depth, character, rustic features, and hand-made appeal are difficult to mirror in a pre-finished product. With a matte sheen level, Superior’s Hand Scraped finishes offer all the same low-maintenance benefits that are available in Superior’s Wire Brushed series.
